MASSOB ready for May 30th Golden Jubilee celebration

The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB) says it has drawn the attention of the International Community to the extra-judicial torture and murders of the unarmed and peaceful Biafran Self-Determination Agitators by the Nigerian security  agents with impunity, which was later confirmed by the reports of Amnesty International and other Human Rights Organisation.

Consequently, “MASSOB Demands for the full investigation and immediate prosecution by the ICC to bring to book the culprits and perpetrators of the genocidal torture/murders visited on the non-violence Biafran Activists as a deterrent for such dastardly act in future”.

In a statement signed by Comrade Uchenna Madu (Leader of MASSOB), ahead of the commemoration of the fallen Biafran Heroes/ Heroines and celebration of the 50th anniversary of declaration of Republic of Biafra by our Supreme leader, General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu on the 30th of May, he said, “we are concluding arrangement to forward the list of the victims of this extra-judicial torture and killings as well as the names of the security agents who perpetrated this criminal acts to the ICC for their investigation and outright prosecution through our team of Lawyers, prosecutors and others already engaged for the purpose of facilitating this case at the ICC.”

“MASSOB reiterates that we will never give up on this Biafran Self-Determination struggle until justice is guaranteed and victory achieved for the people of Biafra.

“MASSOB is drawing the attention to our legitimate and peaceful upcoming events of the commemoration of the fallen Biafran Heroes and Heroines and celebration of 50 years anniversary of Biafra independence declaration by General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu on May 30th, 2017. We also wish to alert the world about the intelligence report by Biafra Intelligence Agency (BIA) that the highest command of Nigerian security agencies has given instruction to maim and kill our people as usual, for exercising our human rights, including our right to self-determination.”
